I would say it's legitimate stoppage. Miesha was taking a beating. Yes, she was probably trying to shoot in for the takedown, but I think Zingano would have finished the fight regardless.

You can make the argument that it was stopped early considering how rocked Tate was against Kedzie, but then came back to win via armbar.

But the ref can't really consider that. She was getting pummeled badly, and was going down--not really for a takedown either!

I'm sad too, Bud. I can tell you what I think. I don't believe that people understand the power of hormones to change our physical body. If a man starts taking estrogen, his physicality will become more and more female like. It's does Fallon Fox an injustice to think of her as a dude with boobs. Once she started on hormone replacement therapy, her muscles and bone density started to equal that of a women. So I don't think that Fallon Fox has any kind of advantage over other women fighters.

Honstly there are several marketable foes for RR

Coenen, Yamanaka, McMann, several from Europe
that with a little effort could be sold to the public
even Carano could/would come back for a big check
IF the UFC works out a relationship to share fighters with Invicta
then they could develop and fight there
and come to the UFC once or twice a year for a big check and TV exposure

At 135-140-145 I still pick RR
the lower the weight
the quicker her win will come
To see Cyborg without roids
against a quality grappler
drop back to her debut loss.
Then understand that half of her victims weighed under 130 pounds
and only 2 weighed under 142
and only one at/over 145
She is no worldbeater against foes her own size
Get over it,
a jacked up juicer in with smaller opponents will almost always win
To make or break her reputation/legacy/career Santos MUST fight RR at 135
or just be an asterisk in MMA history

I agree that Cyborg would be the better, more exciting fight. But then there´s the steroid issue. We all know that she´s been on the juice for years. Her whole career in fact. So how could we make this fight fair? The Nevada State Athletic Commission haven´t exactly been a trustworthy testing system, olympic standards,
now have they?

I think that, while we all know Rousey will kill Tate, it's easier for the UFC to market Rousey and Tate than have Cyborg anywhere near this new venture. Casual male fans will likely be more interested in seeing two pretty ladies fight. If thats what it takes to get our foot in the door, I'm okay with it.
